We constantly research both our competitors and the general market place to ensure that our prices are amongst the best in the country.  However it’s not just the price that’s important to us, as we passionately believe that the overall condition of a carefully prepared and beautifully presented quality car makes for a better proposition than a lesser car at a lower price.

Hand Selected to Meet the Highest Standards

At the Chelmsford Carriage Company we concentrate on buying very low mileage and if possible very high specification examples of the Prestige Cars, Sports Cars and Cabriolets that we specialise in.

All of our vehicles are personally hand selected and carefully appraised by one of our experienced buyers BEFORE they will even consider purchasing them.  Our buyers will often pass over many vehicles until they are completely satisfied they have found a genuine cared for example that meets with our highest of standards.

The Highest Preparation Standards

All of our vehicles undergo a rigorous 114-point pre delivery inspection in our own workshops with the subsequent rectification of any faults found.

• All of our cars over two years old are supplied with a new MOT
• Any routine service that may be due is carried out
• All of our cars have a service history
• An HPI check is carried out to uncover any “hidden history” and to confirm that the vehicle is not subject to any outstanding finance and has not suffered a major insurance repair, been written off or stolen

Complete Confidence and Peace of Mind

Many of our vehicles will be sold with the balance of their 3-year manufacturers warranty.Therefore should your car develop a fault whilst under its manufacturers warranty you can take it to be repaired at any main agent throughout Europe.

The rest of our vehicles are sold with our “cast iron” “no quibble warranty.”  To put it simply: - should a vehicle you bought from us develop a fault during its warranty period we will put it right right for you as quickly as possible and without fuss. To this end we employ a dedicated Service Manager who is always ready and available to assist you, should you be unfortunate enough to experience a problem with your new vehicle.  Courtesy cars are always available and we promise to do our very best to keep any inconvenience caused, to a minimum. 

All of our vehicles qualify for an extended warranty of up to three years with unlimited mileage.

Convenience

We are conveniently located just off the A12 at Junction 17 in mid Essex just outside the village of Howe Green.  We are in easy reach of most of London, Kent and the Home Counties.  We are just 30 minutes from the Dartford River Crossing, 20 minutes from Junction 28 of the M25, 35 minutes from Ipswich and 40 minutes from Stansted Airport. We are happy to arrange a collection service for you from the Airport should you need it.

We are open 7 days a week and have ample on site parking.
