Following an accident, be aware that it is your absolute legal right to have your car repaired anywhere of your choice.
Do not be misled or bullied by your insurance company when you need to make an insurance claim.

You chose an exceptional vehicle when you decided to buy your car from the Chelmsford Carriage Company. Did your insurance company make that decision for you? No of course not! But yet they want to tell you where to get it fixed, if you’re ever in an accident.
If you contact your insurance company, they will try to get the repairs done at the cheapest price possible without caring so much about the quality of the repair as you do. You do not need to use your insurance company’s approved repairer, so look after your car and not the insurance company’s profits!
Also, contrary to what you will be told, you do not need two estimates provided your chosen repairer is a VBRA member and offers a life-time paintwork repair warranty.
Finally your insurance company will tell you that unless you have your vehicle repaired at their approved repairer you will not be entitled to a courtesy car. In that case we will provide you with a courtesy car.

Your insurance company does not have the right to tell you where to take your vehicle for body repairs, if they try to tell you where to take your car, tell them you know you have made the right choice, so you’re taking your car to the Chelmsford Carriage Company.
